Admission Procedure

Shortlisting: Following the closing date of the application, the shortlisted candidates will be notified on this website or on the notice board or are independently contacted.

Provisional Admission: Those who want to apply for the next course can apply for provisional admission while they wait for their exam results. You are required to attach photocopies of your previous mark sheets when applying for the course. For provisional admission, you are supposed to furnish your final marks within one month from the day of admission. Failure to do this will lead to cancellation of your provisional admission.

Cancellation of Provisional Admission: Provisional admission will be cancelled if you don’t meet the standards of eligibility or if you fail to get the sought-after grades.

Application Rejection:

You may be rejected if any of the following applies to your application:

  • Notification: The university releases a notification before the beginning of every admission cycle on the university site, notice board and public platforms such as newspapers. For example, the information on this page tells candidates about the application process, the deadline, and what they need to provide.
  • Application Submission: The application form needs to be submitted by a given deadline to the candidates. If you are waiting for the results of your qualifying examination, you are allowed to apply. In such instances where results are unavailable, provisional admission will be given and the results are awaited.
  • Shortlisting: After the due date for the application, the names of the shortlisted candidates are flashed up on the university website or notice board. Not only are candidates notified directly via the contact details provided in the application, but shortlisted candidates are also notified.
  • Provisional Admission: Provisional admission is given to candidates awaiting results based on marksheets from their previous years. Once the deadline of the application is over, the candidate has to submit the final mark sheet, to confirm their eligibility. Once the provisional admission is granted, a candidate is given a month to put in the mark sheet for the qualifying examination. If this is not done, the provisional admission shall be cancelled. Provisional admission shall be cancelled if the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the minimum prescribed marks.
  • Reasons for Application Rejection:The following reasons may result in the rejection of the application:
    • The candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria.
    • The required fees are not enclosed.
    • The application form does not have the candidate’s or parent/guardian’s signature (where applicable).
    • The candidate fails to submit supporting documents within the stipulated time.
  • Final Admission & Enrolment:Upon submission of all necessary documents and fees, the student is assigned an enrolment number by the university. However, admission is subject to these university rules at all times and the university’s discretion.
