Eligibility

Maharashtra State Candidates:
  • Educational Qualification:The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a related field.
  • Minimum Marks:A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination for general candidates (45% for reserved candidates).
  • Entrance Examination:A valid score in GATE or the university's entrance examination.
All India and UT Candidates:
  • Educational Qualification : Same as Maharashtra State Candidates.
  • Preference: Preference is given to candidates with a non-zero positive GATE score.
NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals:
  • Educational Qualification: Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by the university.
  • Minimum Marks:The candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% marks.
  • Additional Requirements:The candidate must fulfil any additional criteria as deemed necessary by the admissions authority.

Admission Procedure

  • Notification of Admission: Before the beginning of each admission cycle, the University will release a statement on admissions. This will be released to the public through the university website, bulletin boards, newspapers, and other media sources.
  • Application Process: All the candidates who will be waiting for their results will be given provisional admission. Before completing the application process, the candidate must also produce his/her mark sheet for previous years within the prescribed timeframe.If you receive the provisional admission, you will have one month to submit further your final mark sheet. Providing false information or failing to produce the mark sheet within the stipulated time will lead to the cancellation of provisional admission.
  • Provisional Admission: Provisional admission is given to candidates awaiting results based on marksheets from their previous years. Once the deadline of the application is over, the candidate has to submit the final mark sheet, to confirm their eligibility. Once the provisional admission is granted, a candidate is given a month to put in the mark sheet for the qualifying examination. If this is not done, the provisional admission shall be cancelled. Provisional admission shall be cancelled if the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the minimum prescribed marks.
    • Shortlisting and Notification:A list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the university`s website and on the notice board after the application process is closed. The shortlisted candidates will also be communicated directly with their admission status.
    • Final Admission & Enrolment:As a final step to the admission process, provide all required paperwork and other charges as required by the respective institutions. If you successfully complete the submission of your application, you will be admitted an enrollment number by the University.
Rejection of Application:

Applications will be rejected if:

  • The candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria set by the University.
  • The prescribed fee is not enclosed.
  • The application form lacks the required signatures of the candidate and their parents/guardians, if applicable.
  • Supporting documents are not submitted within the specified timeframe.
