About Course

The three-year Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Applications (BCCA) at G H Raisoni Skill Tech University, Nagpur is an undergraduate program designed for students who want to build a career at the intersection of commerce and technology.

Unlike a plain B.Com or a pure BCA, this program gives you the best of both worlds. You learn how businesses operate, how money moves, and how taxes work. At the same time, you learn how to build software, manage databases, and use technology to solve business problems. This combination makes you valuable to employers because you understand both the business side and the technical side of any organisation.

The curriculum covers financial accounting, business economics, cost accounting, and income tax alongside programming languages like C++, Java, and Python, web development, database management systems, and office automation tools. Students also get exposure to e-commerce platforms, digital payment systems, and cyber security basics, ensuring they are ready for the modern digital economy. One of the standout features of studying at GHRSTU, Nagpur is the emphasis on practical learning. The university has well equipped computer labs, regular workshops, and live projects that simulate real world business technology environments.

You do not just learn theory. You work on actual accounting software, build small applications, and understand how companies use technology to manage their finances. Graduates of the BCCA program at GHRSTU are ready to step into roles such as Computer Accountant, Tax Consultant, Financial Analyst with IT skills, E Commerce Executive, Banking Operations Officer, and Software Support Specialist. They find opportunities in banks, accounting firms, IT companies, government organisations, e-commerce businesses, and corporate finance departments where professionals who understand both commerce and computers are always in demand.
