The Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Medical Laboratory Technology) program is designed to
train students in the scientific principles and practices of diagnostic testing. It
focuses on developing expertise in pathology and haematology, along with proficiency in
handling advanced laboratory equipment.
The four-year program, divided into eight semesters, includes a mandatory 24-month
internship. With a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical training, students
gain the competence required to work in hospital laboratories, diagnostic centres,
and research facilities.
