About Course

The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) at G H Raisoni Skill Tech University, Nagpur is a three year undergraduate program designed for students who want to build a strong foundation in the world of commerce, finance, and business management.

It is a comprehensive program that covers core commerce subjects including financial accounting, business laws, cost accounting, corporate accounting, income tax laws, auditing, and management principles. Students also gain exposure to business mathematics, statistics, economics, and computer applications in business.

Unlike specialised programs like BCCA that blend commerce with deep computer science, the B.Com program focuses on building deep expertise in traditional and modern commerce disciplines. You learn how businesses are structured, how financial systems operate, how taxes are calculated and filed, and how companies manage their accounts and audits.

The curriculum covers financial accounting, business organisation and management, business laws, company law, income tax, cost accounting, management accounting, corporate accounting, auditing, banking and insurance, and human resource management. Students also study environmental studies, business communication, and e-commerce fundamentals.

A standout feature of studying B.Com at GHRSTU, Nagpur is the emphasis on practical and industry relevant learning. The university has well equipped computer labs with accounting software, regular workshops, case study based learning, and opportunities for internships that simulate real world business environments. You do not just learn theory. You work on actual accounting problems, analyse real company financial statements, understand tax filing procedures, and learn how businesses make strategic financial decisions.

Graduates of the B.Com program at GHRSTU are ready to step into roles such as Accountant, Tax Consultant, Financial Analyst, Banking Associate, Auditor, Accounts Executive, and Business Advisor.
