1. First-Year Engineering:
Maharashtra State Candidates:
- The candidate must have passed HSC in physics and mathematics and any one of the subjects –chemistry/biology/biotech/technical /vocational.
- At least 50% Marks in their respective examination, 45% for reserved categories.
- Valid MHT-CET 2020 or non-zero positive JEE MAIN score.
All India and UT Candidates:
- Same as the above given for Maharashtra State candidates.
- Preference for any non-zero positive score in JEE MAINS over MHT-CET score.
NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals:
- Successful completion of HSC or equivalent in physics, maths, and any other additional subject.
- The student must have passed these subjects with a minimum of 45 percent marks.
- They must also fulfil some requirements that the authority deemed necessary to be met.
2. Direct Second Year Engineering:
Indian Nationals:
- SSC/HSC and Diploma in Engineering passed with at least 45% (40% for reserved categories).
OR
- B.Sc. with 45 percent marks and HSC with mathematics as a preferred subject. Engineering Graphics/Mechanics is required and, therefore, needs to be passed if need be.
OR
- D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. Bridge courses may apply.

Admission Procedure
Registration and Verification
- The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is mandatory for both the CAP and the Institute Level Quota (ILQ) seat categories, and it is necessary to enrol to be considered for a seat in either category.
- For document verification and scrutiny at the Facilitation Centres/ e-Scrutiny Centres, please follow the guidelines/proceedings of the authority received after online registration.
- Only those candidates whose applications are verified by the Facilitation Centers/e-Scrutiny Center shall be eligible in the displayed merit list.
A) CAP Round Admission:
Allocation:The admission through CAP rounds makes up 80% of the total number of seats and is done per guidelines provided by the SCET Cell, Government of Maharashtra. Additional information can be obtained from the official

B) Institute Level Quota Admission:
The percentile rank of the SCET Cell, MHT-CET or JEE (Main) score determines the merit number for the ILQ of 20 percent while preparing the Institute level merit list (PCML/FCML).
